Ford has started delivering the first F-150 Lightning to retail consumers. The first customer who got it was a man from Michigan, United States named Nicholas Schmidt.
This delivery is a follow-up to what Ford announced last month. The company did promise to start shipping their electric pickup units into the hands of consumers.
As is known, Ford last month revealed that they had started massive production of the F-150 Lightning. At the time, Ford said it would start shipping the F-150 Lightning in the coming days.

And the promise of the automotive giant from the United States was actually fulfilled. Some even call Ford better than Tesla, which has long promised to launch the Cybertruck electric pickup.
There was an interesting incident when Schmidt decided to choose the F-150 Lightning over the Tesla Cybertruck. Schmidt admitted that he had actually ordered a Tesla Cybertruck for himself.
However, because the car never arrived, Schmidt even canceled his order and switched to a faster delivery electric car, namely the Ford F-150 Lightning.
With the Ford F-150 Lightning paving ahead of the Tesla Cybertruck, observers think Ford has the opportunity to build electric truck market share ahead of Tesla. This is a boon for Ford.

To note, the Ford F-150 Lightning itself is equipped with dual motors capable of spitting out 426 HP of power and 775 lb-f of torque. This electric car battery only needs 44 minutes to be fully charged.
The Ford F-150 Lightning has a cruising range of 370 km. As a pickup, the Ford F-150 Lightning is capable of loading goods up to a capacity of 900 kg and is able to pull an additional 3,500 kg of weight.
