Luxury carmaker Porsche has unveiled its latest additions to the Panamera lineup, introducing the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid and the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid. These new models come as part of Porsche’s E-Performance strategy, in response to the growing demand for efficient and dynamic e-hybrid powertrains in various markets.
Porsche’s Panamera 4 E-Hybrid boasts a revamped 2.9-litre V6 twin-turbo petrol engine, delivering 304 PS (224 kW), coupled with an advanced e-hybrid system. This combination produces a system output of 470 PS (346 kW) and a maximum torque of 650 Nm, enabling acceleration from zero to 62 mph in just 4.1 seconds and reaching a top speed of 174 mph. Notably, it offers an increased purely electric range of 59 miles (96 km) in the WLTP cycle.
On the other hand, the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid emphasizes driving dynamics with its 2.9-litre twin-turbo six-cylinder engine generating 353 PS (260 kW). With a system output of 544 PS (400 kW) and maximum torque of 750 Nm, it accelerates from zero to 62 mph in 3.7 seconds and achieves a top speed of 180 mph.
Both models feature improvements such as a larger capacity high-voltage battery, faster charging, enhanced throttle response, and better driving performance compared to previous models. The new 25.9 kWh high-voltage battery offers around 45% more capacity, and the 11 kW On-Board-AC-charger reduces charging time to just two hours and 39 minutes.

Furthermore, the Panamera E-Hybrid models come with four optimized driving modes tailored for hybrid performance. These modes, along with the Sport and Sport Plus modes, enhance efficiency while maintaining performance, with features like active route guidance for maximizing electrically driven distances in city traffic.
In terms of suspension, Porsche equips all variants of the new Panamera with an adaptive two-chamber air suspension and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard. An innovative option, the Porsche Active Ride active suspension, offers optimized traction, cornering performance, and comfort by actively adjusting damper settings.
The new Panamera models feature an athletic design with standard matrix LED headlights, a continuous taillight, and 19-inch wheels for the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid and 20-inch wheels for the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid. Additional features such as ParkAssist, wireless smartphone charging, and various optional upgrades are available for both models.
