Hyundai’s forthcoming Ioniq 6 N, a high-performance electric version of its sleek sedan, could debut in the United States with a price approaching $68,000—placing it well above the Tesla Model 3 Performance, according to pricing estimates based on South Korean market data.
Recent reports indicate the Ioniq 6 N is expected to launch at around 77 million won in South Korea, the same starting price as the Ioniq 5 N. In the U.S., the Ioniq 5 N currently retails for $67,800, suggesting the Ioniq 6 N may carry a similar price when it becomes available in North America.

The anticipated pricing has drawn attention due to the fact that the standard Ioniq 6 is notably cheaper than the Ioniq 5 in the U.S. market. Given their shared components and the Ioniq 6’s smaller form factor, expectations were that Hyundai might price the performance variant more aggressively to compete directly with rivals like the Tesla Model 3 Performance.
However, if the final U.S. price aligns with the Ioniq 5 N, the Ioniq 6 N would position itself in a higher tier despite offering a sedan format. While it would be more expensive than the $54,990 Tesla Model 3 Performance, it will also bring more horsepower and added performance-focused features that may appeal to driving enthusiasts.

The Ioniq 6 N features dual electric motors and an 84 kWh battery, delivering up to 601 horsepower under normal conditions and 641 horsepower when a performance boost function is engaged. Acceleration from 0 to 62 mph is expected in around 3.2 seconds, slightly behind the Tesla on paper, but potentially offering a more engaging driving experience overall.
Hyundai has yet to announce official U.S. pricing or a launch date for the Ioniq 6 N.
