IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 will take place from September 15–20, 2026, at the Deutsche Messe exhibition grounds in Hannover, Germany, bringing together manufacturers, suppliers, technology companies, logistics providers, policymakers, startups and other stakeholders from the international transportation and commercial vehicle industries.
IAA TRANSPORTATION is a major international platform for logistics, commercial vehicles, buses and the wider transportation sector. The 2026 edition will showcase new vehicles, technologies, infrastructure and practical solutions supporting the transformation of mobility and the transportation of people and goods.
The event will focus on the transition toward climate-neutral logistics and transportation, with innovation, digitalization, energy infrastructure and cross-sector partnerships playing important roles.
Key areas include commercial vehicles, trucks, buses, vans, logistics solutions, charging infrastructure, alternative powertrains, zero-emission mobility, digital transportation technologies and smart infrastructure.
IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 will also examine the development of loading and charging infrastructure required for the electrification of commercial transportation. The exhibition will connect vehicle manufacturers and suppliers with technology companies, infrastructure providers, logistics operators and other members of the transportation value chain.
The event will feature exhibition halls, outdoor displays, conference programming, demonstrations and opportunities for visitors to experience new commercial vehicle technologies.
The IAA Experience format will give visitors opportunities to interact with and test selected vehicle innovations, including trucks and vans.
The exhibition will open to visitors from September 15 through September 20. A dedicated Press Day and B2B Exchange will take place on September 14 for accredited press representatives and industry participants.
IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 will be held at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds under the motto “WE DELIVER,” highlighting the industry’s role in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for the future of transportation and logistics.
