Genesis has announced pricing and details for its updated Electrified GV70, introducing three new trim levels and enhanced features. The premium electric SUV is now available to order in the UK, with deliveries expected to commence in July.
Replacing the previous Sport trim, the Electrified GV70 will now be offered in Pure, Dynamic, and Luxury trims. Standard across all variants are Highway Driving Assist, fingerprint recognition, a power-opening tailgate, heated front seats, wireless charging, and Genesis’ Preview Electronic Control Suspension.

Pricing for the base Pure trim starts at £65,915 (€78,800). The mid-tier Dynamic trim, priced at £70,715 (€84,500), adds 20-inch wheels, remote parking assist, a heads-up display, a blind-spot monitor, and a parking collision avoidance system. The range-topping Luxury trim, starting at £74,915, further includes a panoramic sunroof, active road noise cancellation, ventilated front seats, and heated rear seats. Additional customization options will also be available.

While Genesis has yet to release full technical specifications, the updated GV70 is expected to feature an 84kWh battery, replacing the 77.4kWh unit found in Hyundai and Kia’s existing EV lineup. This upgrade is anticipated to improve both range and charging times, aligning with similar updates seen in the GV60.

Genesis, the luxury arm of Hyundai, is gradually electrifying its lineup, which includes the all-electric GV60 and Electrified GV80. However, the company has scaled back its plans for full battery-electric vehicles (BEVs), opting to shift focus toward hybrids instead of launching exclusively all-electric models from 2025 as originally planned.
