Genesis has introduced a refreshed version of its GV60 electric SUV, featuring an extended driving range, updated styling, and new technology. The revised model debuted in South Korea on Thursday, with international markets including the United States and Europe set to follow later this year.
The latest GV60 incorporates a fourth-generation 84 kWh battery, increasing its certified range in South Korea to nearly 300 miles (481 km), up from 280 miles (451 km) in the previous model. The all-wheel-drive variant now delivers up to 490 horsepower (360 kW) and 700 Nm of maximum torque with Boost Control, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in four seconds.

Genesis has also improved charging efficiency, stating that the GV60 can recharge from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes when using a 350 kW fast charger, even in colder temperatures.
“The GV60 has been reborn with a more refined exterior design,” Genesis said in a statement. The redesigned front features a revised bumper and the brand’s signature Two Line headlamps with Micro Lens Array (MLA) technology. The rear has also been updated, with a fine-tuned skid plate that matches the body color to enhance the SUV’s low, wide stance.

Inside, the GV60 now includes a 27-inch connected car Integrated Cockpit (ccIC) infotainment system, which “eliminates the bezel” between display screens.
Other changes include a redesigned three-spoke steering wheel, a revised center console, and a new crash pad. Genesis has also enhanced comfort by improving front and rear shock absorber valves and incorporating additional soundproofing to create a quieter cabin experience.

The GV60 now features an Electronic Active Sound Design (e-ASD) system, allowing drivers to choose between “Horizon” or “Heritage: Black” sound profiles, which mimic the acoustics of a six-cylinder engine. Additionally, the SUV is equipped with a Virtual Gear Shift (VGS) function and a hidden Drift Mode, similar to Hyundai’s high-performance Ioniq 5 N.
The Standard 2WD model is priced at 64.9 million won ($45,000) in South Korea, with the Performance AWD variant reaching 72.88 million won ($50,000). In the United States, pricing for the 2025 GV60 starts at $52,350, with the AWD trim at $55,850 and the Performance AWD model at $69,900.
