Fiat has revised the UK line-up of its electric Grande Panda by replacing the (RED) trim with a new entry-level ‘Pop’ version, a move the brand said is aimed at aligning the trim structure of its battery-electric and hybrid models.
With the update, the Grande Panda is now offered in three trims across both powertrains: Pop, Icon and La Prima. The new Pop version retains several features previously offered on the outgoing (RED) trim, including 16-inch white steel wheels, selected lighting elements, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, rear parking sensors, heated door mirrors and an electric parking brake. The interior features two-tone blue and black seating.

The change also lowers the entry price of the electric Grande Panda in the UK. When order books opened in September, the starting price stood at £21,035. The new Pop trim is now priced from £20,995. All three trims qualify for the Fiat E-Grant, which offers £1,500 off the on-the-road price of Fiat’s battery-electric models. However, the car has not yet been approved for the UK government’s Electric Car Grant.
Fiat continues to offer the Grande Panda as both a mild hybrid and a fully electric model. The hybrid version is powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine paired with a 21 kW electric motor. The electric variant is equipped with a 44 kWh battery and an 83 kW electric motor, delivering a driving range of up to 199 miles (320 km). It accelerates from 0–62 mph in 11 seconds and supports DC fast charging at speeds of up to 100 kW.

The Grande Panda was first unveiled in July 2024 and is built on Stellantis’ CMP Smart Car platform. The model measures 3.99 metres in length, 1.57 metres in height and 1.76 metres in width, offering seating for up to five passengers and a boot capacity of 361 litres.
