Decathlon has introduced the Rockrider E-ACTV 100 e-bike, an entry-level model designed for affordability, which is set to retail for €999. This new e-bike targets consumers seeking a cost-effective solution for commuting and leisure rides, offering an array of features at a competitive price.
The Rockrider E-ACTV 100 is equipped with a 356 Wh battery, providing an assistance range of up to 70 km (44 miles). The bike is powered by a rear-hub motor delivering 45 Nm of torque and offers various assistance modes, including Eco and Boost. A rotation sensor replaces the pedal sensor found in previous models, contributing to a more cost-effective design.

Other features include a 6-speed Microshift transmission, a 60 mm suspension fork, Tektro mechanical disc brakes, and 48 mm all-terrain tires. The bike also comes with essential accessories such as fenders, front and rear lights, and a control unit to manage the bike’s settings, including battery levels, assistance modes, and lighting. Bluetooth connectivity allows riders to track their journey data using the Decathlon Ride smartphone app.

Weighing approximately 23 kg (50.7 lbs), the Rockrider E-ACTV 100 is available in both high and low frame options, suitable for riders between 155 cm and 200 cm in height. The model is expected to be launched in France by mid-March, with potential availability in other European markets like Spain and Italy.
This model is part of Decathlon’s strategy to provide affordable electric bikes, complementing the more expensive E-ACTV 500 and E-ACTV 900 models already in the market.
