Vale SA announced that it has signed a long-term agreement with Tesla to supply nickel from its Canadian operations. Leading tire manufacturer from the United States (US), Goodyear, has demonstrated its ambition to completely replace petroleum-derived oils in its tire products by 2040 by releasing commercial tires made in part with soybean oil compounds.
