Mitsubishi Motors Corporation will reveal two electric concept cars at the Tokyo Auto Salon automotive exhibition which will be held at Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Tokyo, Japan, January 14-16, 2022. Nissan is marking 35 years of production at its Sunderland factory with a one-off electric version of Nissan Bluebird. Called the Newbird, it has been heavily modified to accommodate the Leaf’s innards. South Korean technology company Samsung announced the company’s plans to start production of a new series of chips specifically for electric vehicles. Samsung will develop chips for electric vehicles and self-driving cars.
