Hyundai’s 2025 Ioniq 6 electric sedan is now priced just $300 more than the Toyota RAV4 Limited in the U.S. market, as the South Korean automaker positions the model to compete directly with traditional gasoline-powered vehicles.

The Ioniq 6 SE Standard Range trim starts at $37,850, according to Hyundai’s U.S. website, narrowing the price gap with the RAV4 Limited, which is listed at $37,550. While the electric sedan does not qualify for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit, its pricing may still appeal to cost-conscious consumers when considering potential state-level or dealer incentives.

Performance varies by trim, with power outputs of 149 hp, 225 hp, and 320 hp. The base model accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in around seven seconds, outpacing the RAV4’s top performance of 8.3 seconds.
