Electric Aircraft Firefighting

The Rosenbauer Panther 6×6 Electric is designed specifically for aircraft rescue and firefighting operations.

Dallas Fire-Rescue worked with Rosenbauer as an early adopter of the electric vehicle, with the charging infrastructure forming an important part of the deployment.

Dallas Fire-Rescue Chief Justin Ball said the department has focused on adopting technologies that can support emergency response operations while meeting its operational requirements.

The department’s existing firefighting fleet includes Rosenbauer equipment, providing a basis for its involvement in the development and deployment of the electric Panther.
