Volkswagen is promoting sharply discounted lease offers for its all-electric ID.4 SUV, with some dealerships advertising rates as low as $99 per month. The promotional pricing is notably rare in today’s market, particularly for a vehicle with a starting MSRP over $45,000.
The 2025 Volkswagen ID.4, which recently returned to dealerships, has gained traction as one of the top-selling EVs in the U.S. this year. The base Pro RWD model is priced at $45,095 and offers an EPA-estimated range of 291 miles. It features a 12.9-inch infotainment display, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, heated front seats, and Volkswagen’s latest digital instrument panel.

Powering the entry-level ID.4 is a single rear-mounted electric motor producing 282 horsepower. An upgrade to the all-wheel-drive version adds a second motor for a combined output of 335 hp. While the AWD version provides greater performance and a standard tow hitch, its EPA-estimated range falls slightly to 263 miles.
Volkswagen has previously promoted lease offers as low as $129 per month on the ID.4, but pricing appears to have dropped further at select dealerships. Volkswagen of Garden Grove in California is currently advertising a 24-month lease on the 2025 ID.4 Pro RWD for $99 per month with $2,995 due at signing. The deal includes a $5,000 cash incentive, which can be applied to either a lease or purchase.

Such aggressive pricing places the ID.4 lease among the most affordable in the EV segment. With competitors like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 offering lease deals starting around $179 per month, Volkswagen’s new offers may attract price-sensitive consumers seeking entry into the electric SUV market.
The lease discounts reflect a broader trend among automakers aiming to spur EV adoption through dealer-driven promotions and incentive-laden financing options. As supply stabilizes and competition increases, buyers may continue to see more competitive pricing on electric vehicles through the remainder of the year.
