Hyundai has introduced a permanent 10% charging discount for eligible Hyundai and Genesis electric vehicle drivers using the Ionna fast-charging network in the United States. The discount is automatically applied when charging is initiated through Plug & Charge or Hyundai’s In-App Charging service.
An additional 10% promotional discount is available through September 30, 2026, bringing the total potential saving to 20% during the promotional period.

The permanent discount currently applies to selected Hyundai and Genesis electric models.
Eligible Hyundai vehicles include the Ioniq 5 from model year 2022, Ioniq 5 N from model year 2025, Ioniq 9 from model year 2026 and Kona Electric from model year 2025.

Automatic Charging Discounts
Drivers can access the permanent discount by starting charging through Plug & Charge or Hyundai’s In-App Charging service.
Customers using Hyundai’s in-app service must initiate the charging session through the MyHyundai with Bluelink app.

Ionna Opens 100th Fast-Charging Site as US Network Expansion Accelerates
“Range anxiety was never really only about the battery. It’s about trust in the system built around it. Automatic charging savings for Hyundai EV owners at Ionna stations across the US is the benefit: no codes, no apps, no math at the charger, just immediate savings on fast, reliable public charging built into the ownership experience,” said Olabisi Boyle, Senior Vice President of Product Planning and Mobility Strategy at Hyundai Motor North America.
Boyle said Hyundai is focusing on charging reliability, simpler payments and greater integration between vehicles and public charging infrastructure.
Ionna Expands US Fast-Charging Network
Hyundai is one of Ionna’s founding partners, alongside BMW, General Motors, Honda, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis and Toyota.
Ionna currently operates more than 150 charging locations in the United States and plans to develop a network of more than 30,000 fast-charging points by 2030.
The charging discount gives eligible Hyundai and Genesis EV owners a direct financial benefit from the automaker’s involvement in the charging network while encouraging greater use of public fast-charging infrastructure.
