Tesla is preparing to roll out new Full Self-Driving (FSD) features for the Cybertruck in the coming weeks, bringing the vehicle’s semi-autonomous capabilities in line with the company’s other models.
The update will introduce enhancements such as FSD Supervised starting from park, improved traffic control, and the addition of Actually Smart Summon.

The start-from-park function, first introduced in November 2024 with FSD v13.2, allows vehicles to transition from a stationary position to full operation through a button press.
Tesla is now extending this capability to the Cybertruck, enabling drivers to initiate autonomous driving more seamlessly. Additionally, Actually Smart Summon, which was initially deployed last year, will allow Cybertruck owners to remotely summon their vehicles over distances of up to 213 feet via the mobile app.

Another key feature in the update is the ability for FSD to perform reversing maneuvers in the Cybertruck, which will enable multi-point turns and navigation in confined spaces.
The update will also include improvements to the system’s traffic controller, enhancing prediction accuracy, 3D position tracking, and environmental analysis to facilitate smoother driving decisions.

Tesla has previously indicated that additional parking-related functionalities are in development, which will allow Cybertruck drivers to choose whether the vehicle stops on the roadside or parks in a designated space.
While the automaker initially prioritized FSD enhancements for its higher-volume vehicles, the latest update marks a significant step in integrating the Cybertruck into Tesla’s evolving self-driving ecosystem.
