Onvo, a sub-brand of Nio, has reached the milestone of delivering its 100,000th vehicle, just three days after producing its 100,000th car. The milestone delivery took place in Shantou, Guangdong, marking about one year since Onvo began customer deliveries.
Based on cumulative figures, Onvo has delivered at least 9,721 vehicles so far this month, bringing its total to 100,000 units from 90,279 at the end of September. The milestone reflects rapid growth for the young brand, which was launched to target the mass-market EV segment.

Onvo shared that 80 percent of its owners are family users, with more than 70 percent having at least one child, and around 40 percent born in or after 1990. Collectively, Onvo drivers have completed 1.78 million battery swaps, saving an estimated 83.9 million minutes in charging time.
Nio officially launched the Onvo brand on May 15, 2024, as part of its strategy to expand beyond the premium market. The first model, the L60 five-seat SUV designed to compete with Tesla’s Model Y, was unveiled in September 2024. The updated L60 was introduced this year with deliveries set to begin later this month. Onvo’s second model, the larger L90 SUV available in six- and seven-seat configurations, was launched in July with deliveries starting in August.

Last month, Onvo said it had delivered its 20,000th L90 just two months after the model’s debut, underscoring Nio’s accelerating presence in China’s competitive electric vehicle market. Meanwhile, Nio’s compact premium brand Firefly has also shown strong momentum, delivering 20,000 vehicles since its launch in April—doubling its total in just over two months after surpassing the 10,000 mark in late July.
