Jaguar’s flagship sportcar, the F-Type 75 will be the last F-Type to carry a pure internal combustion engine. The F-Type itself was introduced in 2013 as a replacement for the Jaguar XK.
Jaguar will offer the car in coupe and convertible body styles, as well as in standard and R grades. Both variants will get a supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 engine that produces 450 hp on the standard F-Type 75 and 575 hp on the F-Type. R75.
This V-8 engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Power from the engine is sent via rear-biased all-wheel-drive. In terms of performance, the F-Type R 75 is claimed to be able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds with a top speed that is limited to 186 mph.
Both F-Type variants are equipped with adjustable dampers, as well as an electronic differential at the rear. In addition, the two F-Type variants get several changes such as the 75th anniversary badge, black alloy wheels, Windsor leather seats, and interior decorations.
The Jaguar F-Type gets a Giola Green color option, similar to the Land Rover Defender 75 launched last month by Jaguar’s parent company, Land Rover. Like the Defender, both F-Type variants get double wishbone suspension on all four sides, and specially developed Pirelli P Zero tires.
Jaguar is pricing this new sportcar with prices ranging from £78,330 for the F-Type 75 coupé, to £108,065 for the F-Type R 75 AWD convertible. The F-Type 75 will begin shipping to buyers in early 2023.
