Through a video, Honda has revealed what the upcoming Prologue EV will look like.
The Prologue EV is an electric vehicle developed with GM. Previously, the Prologue EV appeared in the form of an aw sketch, but now the entire design has been presented in a video released by Honda.
The Prologue may be Honda’s first BEV to be sold in the US. This electric vehicle shares a basic component with GM EV, namely the Ultium electric platform. GM and Honda will jointly develop another EV platform, while Honda will make two more EV platforms independently.
In the published video, the design team at Honda’s Design Center in Los Angeles shows how they designed the Prologue EV, including the tools used to collaborate with other teams in Japan.
In the video, it is explained that Prolog is based on what he calls “Neo-rugged.” The video also shows some angles of the car.
There are no details about the interior, although Honda says more details will appear in the near future.
“We were able to see Prologue in digital environments that truly resemble the real world. By simulating and evaluating colors, materials, and even lighting in a virtual 3D environment, we were able to explore the possibilities that took styling to a higher level.” said Marco Tan, VR and CG designer working on the Prologue
