BYD’s premium brand Denza has unveiled the refreshed 2025 N7 SUV, equipping all variants with its advanced “God’s Eye B” smart driving system, as the automaker intensifies its focus on vehicle intelligence this year.
The 2025 Denza N7, launched on Sunday, is available in three variants, each featuring a battery electric powertrain. Prices start at RMB 259,800 ($35,680) for the base and mid-range models, while the highest-tier variant is priced at RMB 289,800.

This update marks a shift from the 2024 Denza N7 lineup, which included four variants and varying levels of smart driving features. In contrast, the new model standardizes BYD’s DiPilot 300 system across all trims, featuring two LiDAR sensors for improved autonomous driving capabilities.
“The 2025 Denza N7 is the first model to fully integrate the ‘God’s Eye B’ system following BYD’s vehicle intelligence strategy announcement,” a company representative said.
The vehicle dimensions remain unchanged from its predecessor, with a length of 4,860 mm, a width of 1,935 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,940 mm. However, the highest-priced variant is slightly lower in height at 1,602 mm, compared to 1,620 mm for the other two versions.

The base and mid-range models are equipped with a single-motor rear-wheel drive setup, delivering 230 kW of peak power and 360 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 6.8 seconds. The highest-tier variant adds a front motor, boosting total output to 390 kW and torque to 670 Nm, reducing acceleration time to 3.9 seconds.
All versions feature BYD’s Blade battery with a 91.3 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) pack, providing a CLTC-rated range of 702 km for the lower variants and 630 km for the top model. Built on the 800 V e-Platform 3.0 Evo, the N7 supports dual-gun fast charging, allowing a 350 km range boost in just 15 minutes.
The SUV also integrates BYD’s DiSus intelligent body control system, with lower-tier models featuring DiSus-C damping control, while the highest variant includes the DiSus-A air suspension system.

BYD introduced its vehicle intelligence strategy on Feb. 10, segmenting its smart driving technology into three tiers: “God’s Eye A,” “God’s Eye B,” and “God’s Eye C.” The top-tier “God’s Eye A” is reserved for BYD’s ultra-luxury Yangwang models, while “God’s Eye C,” which lacks LiDAR and relies on camera-based vision, is designated for budget-friendly BYD models.
The rollout of the 2025 Denza N7 aligns with BYD’s push toward standardized intelligent driving features, simplifying choices for consumers while advancing the automaker’s position in the high-tech EV sector.
