REE Automotive Unveils Next-Generation P7-S Stripped Chassis at ACT Expo

At the ACT Expo in Las Vegas, REE Automotive introduced the latest iteration of its P7-S stripped chassis, marking a significant advancement in electric vehicle (EV) technology. The company announced that customer delivery of the first next-gen P7-S demo will commence in June 2024.

Developed in collaboration with a prominent delivery fleet, the class 5 P7-S chassis is designed to enhance delivery efficiencies and streamline fleet management. Part of REE Automotive’s P7 program, the P7-S chassis enables automotive body builders to create purpose-built electric vehicles, including step-vans, box trucks, and other specialized vehicles for various vocations.

Daniel Barel, CEO, and co-founder of REE Automotive, highlighted the company’s customer-centric approach in designing their products, stating, “From the start, we have been attuned to the voice of the customer and therefore decided to design our products with fleets in mind, by working directly with them during the design process to create the best electric truck or chassis they need.”

The P7-S stripped chassis can be paired with a certified P7-C chassis cab, making it eligible for US federal tax credits and state incentives. REE Automotive emphasizes that the P7-S platform offers customization options, including class (4-5), driver position, batteries, wheelbase, and rear overhang, catering to diverse fleet requirements.

With production bases in the USA and the UK, REE Automotive is poised to revolutionize the commercial EV market with its innovative P7-S stripped chassis.
