Taycan Turbo S managed to become the fastest electric car in the world. This achievement was achieved based on the results of one lap lap at the Nurburgring circuit, Germany.

Noted, Taycan managed to devour the lap in just 7 minutes 33 seconds. This figure is 3 seconds faster than the Tesla Model S Plaid.

Tesla itself has a record of 7 minutes 35 seconds that was set last year.

To be able to break this Tesla record, Porsche gave the Taycan a new performance kit and was equipped with Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC).

Included in this particular kit is the use of 21-inch tires from the Pirelli P Zero Corsa. In addition, the latest software technology is embedded for the Porsche 4D Chassis Control.

Even though there is a roll cage, Porsche ensures that the weight of the car is the same as the car in the showroom or for mass production.

Interestingly, Tesla, which held the previous record, has more power than Porsche. The Tesla Model S has 1000 hp while the Porsche only 750 hp.
