Chinese electric vehicle maker Xpeng has delivered over 40,000 units of its P7+ electric sedan within four months of its launch, the company’s chairman and CEO, He Xiaopeng, said on social media.
The milestone highlights strong demand for the mid-to-large-size sedan, with approximately one-third of buyers switching from gasoline-powered vehicles, He noted in a Weibo post.

The latest figure suggests that Xpeng delivered 7,153 P7+ units so far this month, following cumulative deliveries of 32,847 at the end of February.
Launched on November 7, 2024, the P7+ is available in three variants, with starting prices of RMB 186,800 ($25,710), RMB 198,800, and RMB 218,800. The sedan measures 5,056 mm in length, 1,937 mm in width, 1,512 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.

Unlike previous Xpeng models, the P7+ does not feature LiDAR, marking a shift to a vision-based system akin to Tesla’s. The company’s Eagle Eye vision solution, powered by two Nvidia Orin X chips, supports Xpeng’s XNGP assisted driving system.
Xpeng delivered a total of 30,453 vehicles in February, up 570% from 4,545 a year earlier and nearly matching January’s 30,350 units, the company reported on March 1.
