Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturer Leapmotor reported a significant rise in vehicle deliveries for March, with 37,095 units delivered, marking a 154.65% increase from the same period last year, the company said on Monday.
First-quarter deliveries reached 87,552 units, up 162.05% year-on-year, as the company gained momentum following a traditionally slow start to the year. “The company’s C-series models have already achieved monthly sales of more than 40,000 units, and the future B-series models will be even higher,” Leapmotor said in a media interview after its latest model launch event.

The company’s cumulative deliveries stood at 687,100 units as of the end of March, according to data compiled by CnEVPost. Leapmotor’s first global model in its B series, the B10, is set for an official launch on April 10. Pre-sales began on March 10, with a starting price of RMB 109,800 yuan ($15,120). The company said it received more than 15,010 pre-orders within the first hour, with 73% of customers opting for LiDAR-equipped variants.
Leapmotor aims to achieve monthly sales of more than 40,000 units for its B-series models and plans to introduce additional vehicles under the lineup this year. Founder and CEO Zhu Jiangming has set an ambitious sales target of between 500,000 and 600,000 vehicles for 2025.

The company reported annual deliveries of 293,724 units in 2024, an increase of 103.76% from the previous year. It also posted quarterly profitability in the fourth quarter of 2024, citing record deliveries and improved gross margins driven by an optimized product mix.
