Xiaomi EV, the electric vehicle unit of Xiaomi, delivered more than 29,000 vehicles in March, continuing its steady growth as it ramps up production, the company announced on Weibo on Saturday.
This marks the sixth consecutive month Xiaomi EV has exceeded 20,000 monthly deliveries. While the company has not provided exact figures, it expressed confidence in achieving its annual target of 350,000 deliveries.

Xiaomi EV officially launched the SU7 electric sedan on March 28, 2024, positioning it as a competitor to Tesla’s Model 3. The SU7 is available in three versionsāStandard, Pro, and Maxāstarting at RMB 215,900 ($29,720). The company later introduced the SU7 Ultra, which features 1,548 Ps horsepower and a starting price of RMB 529,900, with deliveries beginning on March 2.
Xiaomi EV has delivered more than 135,000 units of the SU7 series since its launch. In the fourth quarter of 2024, the company delivered 69,697 SU7 models, a 3.78% increase from 67,157 in the third quarter, according to its financial report released on March 18.

Looking ahead, Xiaomi plans to introduce the YU7, an electric SUV designed to rival Tesla’s Model Y, in June or July. The company is also expanding its manufacturing footprint with a second EV factory in Beijingās Yizhuang district, which is expected to start production by mid-2025. The first phase of Xiaomiās Beijing plant has an annual capacity of 150,000 vehicles, with phase two under construction to add another 150,000 units.
