Xpeng exceeded its first-quarter delivery expectations, reporting strong growth in March as the Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker continued to expand its market presence.
The company delivered 33,205 vehicles in March, marking a 267.88% increase from the 9,026 units sold in the same month last year and a 9.04% rise from Februaryâs 30,453 units. It was the fifth consecutive month Xpeng delivered more than 30,000 vehicles.

For the first quarter, total deliveries reached 94,008 units, up 330.81% from 21,821 in the same period last year. The figure surpassed the upper end of Xpengâs earlier guidance of 91,000â93,000 vehicles.
Xpeng also highlighted the adoption of its XNGP (Xpeng Navigation Guided Pilot) smart driving system, which achieved an 86% penetration rate among active users in March.

The company recently launched the 2025 versions of its G6 and G9 SUVs on March 13, both featuring 5C AI battery technology and Turing AI-powered smart driving across all trims.
The updated models come with notable price reductions. The 2025 G6 starts at RMB 176,800 ($24,360), an 11.56% decrease from its predecessor, while the 2025 G9 starts at RMB 248,800, down 5.72%.

Xpeng also reported strong demand for its latest sedan models, the Mona M03 and P7+. The Mona M03 surpassed 100,000 units produced within seven months of its launch, with monthly deliveries exceeding 15,000 units between December and February. Meanwhile, the P7+ has accumulated over 40,000 deliveries in just four months.
