Xpeng delivered 36,728 vehicles in November, maintaining near-record monthly volumes despite a sequential slowdown, as the Chinese electric vehicle maker pushes to reach profitability and expand its overseas footprint, the company said on Monday.

November deliveries rose 18.88% from a year earlier but fell 12.58% from October’s level, according to company data. From January through November, Xpeng delivered 391,937 vehicles, representing a year-on-year increase of 155.54%. Overseas deliveries during the same period reached 39,773 vehicles, up 95% from a year earlier, highlighting growing international demand.

By the end of November, cumulative deliveries since the company’s inception reached 982,316 vehicles, approaching the one-million milestone. Xpeng said on Nov. 21 that its one-millionth vehicle had already rolled off the production line, just 14 months after the company passed the 500,000-unit production mark. “The milestone comes 14 months after Xpeng reached 500,000 vehicles, which took 82 months from the company’s first production car,” Chairman and Chief Executive He Xiaopeng said at the opening of the 2025 Guangzhou auto show.

Product expansion remains central to Xpeng’s strategy. On Nov. 20, the company launched the extended-range version of its X9 multi-purpose vehicle, with a starting price of 309,800 yuan ($43,560), undercutting both the pre-sale price and the battery-electric version of the model.

Financial performance showed further improvement in the third quarter. Xpeng reported a non-GAAP net loss of 150 million yuan in the July–September period, nearing break-even, while its GAAP net loss narrowed to 380 million yuan, down 78.93% from a year earlier and 20.28% from the previous quarter. The company said it is targeting its first quarterly profit in the fourth quarter.

Beyond vehicles, Xpeng last month also stepped up its push into artificial intelligence and robotics. At its 2025 Xpeng AI Day in Guangzhou, the company unveiled an upgraded version of its Iron humanoid robot, showcasing human-like motion improvements in balance, posture and movement.
