Leapmotor has entered the Argentine market with extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) versions of its B10 and C10 sport utility vehicles, expanding the Chinese automaker’s presence in South America.
The Stellantis-backed company has initially established 12 sales outlets and 20 dedicated aftersales locations in major Argentine cities. The retail network builds on existing Stellantis dealerships while adding dedicated Leapmotor spaces for vehicle sales and test drives.

The choice reflects the country’s charging infrastructure, according to Leapmotor. EREV technology allows the vehicles to operate using electric propulsion while using an onboard combustion engine to generate electricity when additional range is required.
The company said the configuration can reduce drivers’ dependence on public charging availability and address concerns about driving range.
Stellantis Network Supports Sales and Service
Leapmotor is using Stellantis’ existing commercial footprint to establish its presence in Argentina.
The company has opened 12 sales outlets and 20 dedicated aftersales locations. Those service locations will provide e-Expert electrification services, basic maintenance and roadside assistance.
Owners will also have access to more than 300 Stellantis-branded service outlets across the country.
Mopar, Stellantis’ parts business, will support parts distribution through a local warehouse designed to facilitate supply to the service network.
The dedicated Leapmotor locations will also offer localized vehicle financing and test-drive services.
Argentina Becomes Third South American Market
Argentina is Leapmotor’s third market in South America, following its entry into Brazil and Chile in November 2025.
At the time, the company identified Argentina, Colombia and Ecuador as additional markets targeted for expansion.

The automaker has continued to expand beyond South America. In July, it entered Mexico with the B10, marking its first move into the North American market.
On July 31, Leapmotor also announced plans to enter Indonesia, where it intends to establish localized knock-down assembly with Indomobil Group.
Stellantis Partnership Supports Global Expansion
Leapmotor’s international expansion is being managed through Leapmotor International, the joint venture established after Stellantis invested in the Chinese automaker in 2023.
The venture is responsible for Leapmotor’s sales and exports outside China.
Leapmotor said its international footprint now covers more than 40 countries and regions, supported by more than 2,000 sales and service outlets.
