BMW has released several teaser photos of its latest SUV electric car technology, the BMW iX1. Through its official media page, BMW spread the charm of its smallest electric SUV during winter testing in Arjeplog, Sweden.
Interestingly, BMW revealed that the BMW iX1 was accompanied by the BMW X1 with a conventional engine and a plug-in hybrid in this test. BMW plans to release the BMW iX1 after launching the latest BMW X1 in the fall of 2022.
At first glance the BMW iX1, it has some design elements that are slightly different from the current BMW X1 model. Starting from the front, the BMW iX1 gets a bigger Kidney Grille and slimmer headlights.

Not only at the front, the design of the taillights of the BMW iX1 has also changed so that it looks similar to the BMW 3 Series. Unfortunately, the BMW iX1 is still wearing camouflage so it is difficult to see other exterior features.
Regarding performance, BMW has not provided detailed information about the specifications of the iX1. However, the BMW iX1 is confirmed to have a fifth-generation BMW eDrive with two all-wheel-drive electric motors.

BMW says the iX1 has the latest battery cell technology and a more sophisticated heat management system. These two technologies are claimed to be able to provide the iX1 with short charging times and long distances.
Speaking of mileage, BMW claims the iX1’s predicted mileage is 413-438 kilometers according to the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedures (WLTP) standards.
