Volkswagen has unveiled launch details for the 2025 ID. Buzz, bringing the iconic Microbus back to life. While U.S. pricing remains undisclosed, the model will be offered in three trims, including an exclusive 1st Edition.

Starting with the entry-level ID. Buzz Pro S, the van boasts keyless access, 20-inch alloy wheels, power-sliding rear doors, and a power liftgate. Inside, a vibrant cabin features a 5.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.9-inch infotainment system, wireless smartphone charging, and a 30-color ambient lighting system. The van can accommodate up to seven passengers with its second-row bench.

The ID. Buzz Pro S is equipped with 12-way power front seats, perforated leatherette upholstery, heating, ventilation, and massage functions, a heated steering wheel, heated second-row seats, and automatic climate control. Power comes from a 91 kWh battery pack driving a rear-mounted motor producing 282 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque.

Stepping up to the ID. Buzz Pro S Plus adds a head-up display, a surround view monitor, a nine-speaker Harman/Kardon premium audio system, a manually-retractable tow hitch, and an electrochromic panoramic glass roof. The Pro S Plus is available with dual-motor all-wheel drive, increasing output to 335 hp.

The 1st Edition boasts a two-tone exterior, unique 20-inch wheels, special badging, an electrochromic glass roof, a roof rack, and a coastal-inspired interior. It includes retro floor mats, a Flexboard for flat storage, and special “owner’s gifts.”

All ID. Buzz models come with standard driver assistance systems including Travel Assist, traffic sign recognition, and Park Assist Plus with Memory Parking. The van offers a variety of color options and three interior themes: Moonlight, Dune, and Copper, each with unique leatherette seats, door inserts, and dash designs.
