Verge Motorcycles has presented the next evolution of its TS Pro electric motorbike at the EICMA 2025 motorcycle show, showcasing the newly developed Donut Motor 2.0, a lighter and more efficient version of its signature in-wheel motor.
The second-generation Donut Motor delivers the same 102 kW of power and 1,000 Nm of torque as its predecessor but is now 50 per cent lighter, reducing the total motorcycle weight to 230 kg. The lower unsprung mass improves handling, stability, and efficiency. The patented rim-integrated design, developed by Verge’s subsidiary Donut Labs, retains the futuristic “empty rear wheel” look that has become a hallmark of the TS Pro.

The updated model also features an improved 20.2 kWh battery, offering a range of up to 350 km and fast charging in under 35 minutes. Riders can gain approximately 100 km of range in just 15 minutes via CCS chargers in Europe or NACS connectors in North America. The chassis has been retuned based on test data and customer input, with adjustments to the seat angle for enhanced comfort and control.
Additional refinements include a larger, clearer digital display, a redesigned user interface, and improved connectivity through integrated Bluetooth.
