Tesla Recalls 48,000 Model 3 Due to Speedometer Display Not Appearing

Tesla is recalling thousands of its vehicles that have been manufactured in the United States. It is known, the vehicle being recalled is the Model 3, which is their cheapest electric sedan variant.

As reported by Reuters, the automotive company from the United States withdrew its production because the Tesla Model 3 speedometer did not appear when the driver activated track mode.

The recall covers vehicles from the 2018 to 2022 model years. Later, they will carry out an over-the-air software update to address the issue. This is in order to increase wirelessly using telecommunications equipment.

If not updated soon, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in the US said the vehicle did not meet vehicle safety standards. Therefore, Tesla withdrew its production.

It is known that over the past year the company, which was founded in 2003, has issued more recalls, including some under pressure from the NHTSA agency.

Tesla previously also carried out a recall for the same problem in China.
