Tesla has launched a program allowing businesses to purchase and install its Supercharger stations on-site, expanding the availability of its charging network beyond Tesla-owned locations.
The initiative, called Supercharger for Business, is available in all countries where Tesla operates Superchargers. Companies can acquire at least four V3 or V4 posts per site, with Tesla handling network operations, maintenance, and 24/7 customer support. The automaker is guaranteeing 97% uptime, in line with the reliability of its global network of more than 70,000 chargers.
Business-owned Superchargers will integrate Tesla’s hardware, software, live availability monitoring, and over-the-air updates, offering drivers a consistent experience with the company’s proprietary network. Each site will also appear in Tesla’s in-car navigation system for automatic trip routing.
Tesla said businesses can benefit from increased foot traffic as drivers often shop, dine, or rest while charging. Hosts will have access to a management portal to adjust pricing, track utilization, and monitor financial performance.
The chargers will support a wide range of electric vehicles, with Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS) and adapters enabling compatibility beyond its own models.
