Schneider Electric has launched Schneider Charge Pro in Europe, a comprehensive electric vehicle (EV) charging solution designed to support fleet electrification and multifamily housing.

The platform aims to simplify installation, reduce power disruptions, and streamline reimbursement processes, while adhering to the EU’s Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), which requires upgraded EV charging infrastructure by 2027. Schneider Charge Pro addresses the challenges of the fragmented market by providing a cost-effective solution for commercial fleet operators and building owners.

The solution offers a turnkey approach for both retrofitting and new installations of EV charging stations. It includes open system software that tracks charging times and enables fleet operators to manage reimbursements for employees who charge their vehicles at home. Schneider Charge Pro also helps manage power loads for multifamily residences, ensuring reliable EV charging without impacting tenants’ electricity supply. Additionally, a cloud-based tool allows for remote monitoring, facilitating pre-commissioning and faster on-site setup through a mobile app.

Schneider Charge Pro is currently available in France and Hong Kong, with plans for future expansion into other markets. The platform integrates hardware, software, and services to offer a comprehensive experience for fleet operators, building owners, and electricians. Its real-time power management features help prevent overloads, making it suitable for multifamily housing.
