Geely Auto sold 250,161 vehicles in July, with record overseas deliveries helping offset continued weakness in its domestic market.
The Chinese automaker’s July sales increased 5.23% from a year earlier and rose 3.89% from June, marking the company’s highest July sales on record.
Overseas Sales Reach New High
Geely Auto exported 106,663 vehicles in July, up 202.40% year on year and 3.68% from June.
The result marked the second consecutive month that the company’s overseas deliveries exceeded 100,000 vehicles and established a new monthly export record.
During the first seven months of 2026, cumulative exports reached 580,891 vehicles, representing an increase of 164.78% from the same period last year.
New energy vehicle (NEV) exports totaled 62,604 units in July, rising 616% year on year and accounting for approximately 59% of total exports.
The figures indicate Geely’s international expansion is increasingly being driven by electrified models rather than internal combustion engine vehicles.
Domestic Market Remains Weak
Sales in China totaled 143,498 vehicles in July, down 29.12% from a year earlier but up 4.04% compared with June.
Overall, Geely Auto sold 250,161 vehicles during the month.
For the first seven months of the year, cumulative sales reached 1,673,119 vehicles, up 1.59% year on year.
Brand Performance Mixed
The core Geely brand delivered 197,942 vehicles in July, increasing 2.28% from a year earlier and 6.10% from June.
Galaxy sold 107,797 vehicles, up 13.42% year on year while remaining broadly unchanged from the previous month.
Premium electric vehicle brand Zeekr delivered 35,837 vehicles in July, a 111.09% increase from a year earlier and its seventh consecutive month of more than doubling year-on-year deliveries.
Meanwhile, Lynk & Co remained under pressure, with July sales declining 39.81% year on year to 16,382 vehicles and falling 14.08% from June.
