S2G Energy has deployed AMPECO’s charging management software to operate one of Latin America’s largest electric fleet charging networks, overseeing 566 charging units and more than 2,600 electric vehicles across the region.

The Mexico-based electromobility company said it plans to double its charging infrastructure within six months as demand grows for electrified last-mile delivery operations.

The platform integrates charging control, vehicle telematics and routing intelligence into a single system designed for mission-critical fleets. S2G Energy reported network uptime exceeding 98% and said charging schedules are optimized to take advantage of lower electricity prices and site-specific conditions.

Chief Executive and co-founder Geronimo Martinez said the company’s strategy focuses on data-driven energy management rather than simply installing chargers. He said reliable overnight charging is essential for delivery operators, as missed charging sessions can disrupt routes and reduce revenue.

AMPECO’s hardware-agnostic system allows S2G Energy to manage chargers from multiple manufacturers while maintaining centralized oversight. The software links each charging session to specific vehicles and cost centers, tracking energy use, tariffs and demand charges at a granular level.

This detailed reporting enables fleet managers to calculate total cost of ownership per vehicle and identify efficiency gains over time. S2G Energy said deployments have demonstrated operating cost advantages of roughly 20% to 25% for light- and medium-duty electric vehicles compared with diesel alternatives.

Orlin Radev, chief executive and co-founder of AMPECO, said the partnership illustrates how large-scale charging operations can be coordinated across diverse markets using software-driven management.

S2G Energy’s services span multiple segments, including mission-critical fleet charging, residential smart charging and destination charging at commercial and hospitality sites, reflecting broader growth in the region’s electric mobility sector.
