Renault has launched a new entry-level version of its Scenic E-Tech electric SUV, aimed at making electric vehicle (EV) ownership more accessible. Priced at £37,495, the new Comfort Range model joins the existing Long Range variant, which starts at £40,995.
The Comfort Range features a smaller 60kWh battery and a 170hp motor, offering a WLTP range of up to 260 miles. In comparison, the Long Range model comes with an 87kWh battery and a 220hp motor, providing a range of 379 miles.

Both variants offer the same charging options, with up to 22kW AC and up to 130kW DC capacity. This enables a 15-80% charge in approximately 32 minutes from a suitable public charger, providing around 169 miles of range.
Available exclusively in the entry-level Techno trim, the Comfort Range offers standard features such as 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, full LED lights, electric flush door handles, flush roof bars, and more.
Inside, the Comfort Range boasts a 12.3-inch driver information display and a 12-inch OpenR multimedia screen powered by Google services, including Google Maps, Google Assistant, and the Google Play store. Standard equipment also includes wireless smartphone replication and charging, automatic air conditioning, heated front seats and steering wheel, and a range of advanced driver assistance systems.

For a limited time, the Comfort Range model is available for £429 per month on a 7.9% APR representative, four-year Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) deal with a £750 deposit contribution.
