Swedish electric vehicle maker Polestar has expanded its ‘Polestar Charge’ network in Germany and the UK, adding more than 4,000 charging points across the two markets. The company now provides access to over 62,000 charging points across 41 charge point operators (CPOs) in its active European markets.
In the UK, Polestar has increased its charging points by 89%, adding 2,754 new stations. The Polestar Charge subscription now offers a 30% discount at 5,854 charging points nationwide, including networks such as Ionity, Sainsbury’s, Instavolt, MFG, Fastned, and Applegreen.

“Our convenient Polestar Charge now provides Polestar drivers in the UK greater coverage across the country and a more personalised offering,” said Matt Galvin, Managing Director of Polestar UK. He added, “With networks like Ionity, Sainsbury’s, and Instavolt included in the 30% saving, we now offer 5,854 charging points in one app, meaning charging on the go is easier and more affordable than ever.”
In Germany, Polestar has added 1,439 new charging points, bringing the total to 8,396 across six providers: Ionity, Allego, Fastned, TotalEnergies, Aral Pulse, and Shell. Polestar Charge subscribers can access a 30% discount at these locations for a monthly fee of €13.99. However, Polestar has not specified which charging stations were newly added.

The Polestar Charge service, launched in partnership with Plugsurfing, initially provided access to 650,000 charging points. The service integrates directly with Polestar’s in-car navigation system, allowing users to filter routes to display only compatible charging points. Drivers can also set manual filters for personal charging cards or preferred operators.
