Peugeot claims its brand to be the first European manufacturer to offer a 100% electric-powered station wagon type.

The electric Peugeot 308 and 308 SW units are claimed to produce 156 hp and can cover a distance of more than 400 km.

The average energy consumption of the car is claimed to be 12.7 kWh. Available in Allure and GT trim levels, the new Peugeot E-308 and E-308 SW are claimed to hit the market successively in mid-2023.

The battery also uses a high-voltage 54 kWh (51 kWh usage) with a material that is claimed to be a new chemical.

The battery has a new chemical composition with 80% Nickel, 10% Manganese and 10% Cobalt, which operates at 400 volts and claims to allow a range of more than 400 km according to the WLTP protocol.

The charger comes as standard and has a power rating of 11 kW. The charger socket accepts all charging modes. From a typical 100kW charging point, it takes a claimed less than 25 minutes.

This car offers the latest generation of the Peugeot i-Cockpit, which can be recognized by its compact and heated steering wheel.

The 3-dimensional digital heads-up display, 10-inch touchscreen in the center features configurable virtual i-toggles, and connectivity including the latest i-Connect® Advanced technology.
