Chinese electric vehicle maker Xpeng has launched the next-generation P7 electric sedan, introducing upgraded performance, new design elements, and advanced computing power.
The liftback starts at 219,800 yuan ($30,730) for its entry-level variant, with four trims priced up to 301,800 yuan ($42,190).

The P7, first released in 2020, has accumulated domestic sales of nearly 191,000 units and expanded into overseas markets including Europe. The updated model adopts Xpeng’s Xmart Face design language with a slim LED strip, illuminated logo, retractable door handles, active air intake, and an optional active rear spoiler.
The vehicle has a drag coefficient of 0.201 Cd and offers 20- or 21-inch wheels, with the performance version featuring scissor doors and Brembo brakes. Six color options are available, such as Rhythm Yellow, Twilight Purple and Starlight Blue.

Inside, the new P7 offers three interior color themes, a Nappa leather steering wheel, and a floating 15.6-inch touchscreen with tilt adjustment. It is complemented by an 8.8-inch instrument panel and an 87-inch augmented reality head-up display. The cabin includes a 23-speaker 7.1.4 audio system, ventilated and massaging front seats with 16-way adjustment, and a luggage capacity of up to 1,929 liters with rear seats folded.
The sedan is powered by Xpeng’s self-developed Turing AI chips, delivering a combined 2,250 TOPS of computing power for advanced driver-assistance functions. It supports large vision-language AI models for adaptive driving responses.

Powertrain options include a 270 kW (362 hp) rear-wheel drive variant and a 437 kW (586 hp) dual-motor all-wheel drive capable of 0–100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. Two battery packs are available: a 74.9 kWh LFP and a 92.2 kWh NMC, offering a range of 702–820 km under CLTC standards.
The P7 rides on a double wishbone front and five-link rear suspension system, enhanced by dual-chamber air suspension and CDC adaptive damping. According to Xpeng, the new model received 10,000 orders within seven minutes of its launch.
