Micro Mobility Systems is introducing the Microlino Lite, an L6e version of its electric cabin scooter, now available to order in two color variants. The sales launch is scheduled for early summer.
“The Microlino Lite is our contribution to making sustainable mobility solutions accessible to an even wider community. We recognize the growing need for such mobility, especially among those who want to be safe and protected from the weather without a driver’s license,” said Merlin Ouboter from Micro Mobility Systems.

The Swiss manufacturer presented the Microlino Lite as a concept one and a half years ago and is now showcasing the series version at the Geneva Motor Show. Like all vehicles in the L6e class, the tiny electric vehicle can be driven with a moped license, allowing even 15-year-olds in Germany to operate it.
With a weight of 420 kilograms and a top speed of 45 kph, the Microlino Lite complies with L6e regulations, which mandate a maximum weight of 425 kilograms (without battery) and a maximum power output of 6 kW. Compared to the standard Microlino cabin scooter, which belongs to the L7e class and weighs 435 kilograms with a top speed of up to 90 kph, the transition to the L6e variant was relatively minor.

The Microlino Lite’s edition is limited, with an entry-level price of 149 Swiss francs per month (around 156 euros), but a classic purchase price is not specified. Built in Turin, Italy, like all electric scooters from the Swiss company, the Microlino Lite aims to attract a broader population who “want to get around protected from the weather and with plenty of bella figura.”

Despite its weaker 6 kW motor compared to the standard Microlino’s 12.5 kW motor, the Lite version’s battery is designed to match its big brother’s range. It features 5.5 and 11 kWh battery options, offering ranges of 100 and 180 kilometers respectively. Charging with 2.2 kW takes two or four hours to reach 80% battery charge.
The Microlino Lite retains the two-seater configuration and dimensions of the standard model, measuring 2,519 x 1,473 x 1,501 millimeters with a boot capacity of 230 liters. It features design elements such as the colors Venice Blue and Berlin Anthracite, as well as orange details, specific to the L6e version.
