Maextro, the automotive brand created through a joint venture between Huawei and Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group (JAC), has revealed the interior of its first vehicle, the Maextro S800, ahead of its official launch later this month.
Images shared by Maextro on Weibo on Thursday show the luxury sedan’s interior, including three connected screens at the front. The S800 features a four-seat configuration, with a roof designed to create a star-effect ambiance.

These images were shared as the vehicle is displayed at Huawei’s HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) booth at the 2025 Shanghai auto show, though the interior was not open for public viewing at the event.
The Maextro S800, initially unveiled by Huawei in November 2024, is expected to be priced between RMB 1 million ($137,070) and RMB 1.5 million.

The luxury sedan will be offered in both extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) variants, sharing similar dimensions: 5,480 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, and 1,536 mm in height, with a 3,370 mm wheelbase. Both variants will be available in four- and five-seat configurations.
According to a regulatory filing, the EREV variant of the Maextro S800 will be equipped with a 65 kWh 800V high-voltage battery pack capable of 6C fast charging. This battery can charge from 10% to 80% in just 10.5 minutes. The BEV variant will feature a 5C pack, with a charging time of 12 minutes from 10% to 80%.

Huawei’s Managing Director, Richard Yu, confirmed in a February presentation that the Maextro S800 is set for an official launch by the end of May 2025. This model will be the fourth automotive brand developed by Huawei in collaboration with local manufacturers under its HIMA umbrella.
