Lucid has appointed former Rolls-Royce executive Neil Marsons as senior vice president of supply chain, tasking him with strengthening the company’s global supplier network as it scales production in the United States and Saudi Arabia.
Lucid said Marsons, who brings more than 20 years of experience, will oversee supply chain operations supporting manufacturing at its facilities in Arizona and Saudi Arabia. He will report to Interim Chief Executive Marc Winterhoff. Marsons had spent the past six months advising Lucid on supply chain strategy before joining the company in a full-time role.

“As we prepare Lucid for its next phase of growth and focus on optimizing resources on a path toward profitability, Neil’s decades of leadership will help strengthen the reliability, performance and cost efficiency of our supply chain,” Winterhoff said. He added that Marsons had already contributed to tighter cost discipline and improved execution.
Before joining Lucid, Marsons served as group chief procurement officer at Rolls-Royce, overseeing global procurement and supply chains across civil aerospace, defense, power systems, submarines and small nuclear reactor businesses. He previously held senior roles at JCB and Jaguar Land Rover, where he was involved in managing supply chain disruptions during the global semiconductor shortage.

Marsons said he was joining Lucid as it prepares to launch its midsize platform vehicles and expand internationally. “My team and I are committed to driving disciplined execution, effectively managing supply chains and realizing operational excellence,” he said.
Lucid also said that Claudia Gast, senior vice president of strategy and business development, will depart the company to pursue other opportunities. Gast had overseen supply chain functions as part of her role. The announcement follows Gast’s appointment previously by General Motors as deputy chief financial officer and vice president responsible for strategy, corporate development and technology partnerships.
