Lidl has released a limited edition version of its Crivit Classic electric bicycle in France, featuring a new color scheme designed through an AI-based customer competition. Named the Crivit Electric Bike Edition #Lidlize, the model is priced at €1,299 and retains the same technical specifications as the standard version launched earlier this year in select European markets.

The #Lidlize edition was developed as part of a recent initiative inviting customers to use the company’s Lidlize AI object creation tool to propose new product designs. The winning entry features a blue, yellow, and red color palette that differentiates it visually from the original Crivit Classic. Lidl has not disclosed the total number of units available but confirmed that quantities are limited.

Technical specifications of the e-bike remain unchanged from the original model. It includes a 250W Ananda M131SD rear hub motor with 40Nm of torque and a boost button for additional power. The bike offers three assistance modes—Eco, Tour, and Race—displayed via a handlebar-mounted LED screen. The removable 355Wh battery delivers an estimated range of up to 70 kilometers (43.5 miles) and takes around 5.5 hours to recharge.

Other features include a Shimano Tourney 7-speed derailleur, a suspension fork, mechanical disc brakes by Tektro, and Kenda tires. The bike weighs approximately 24 kilograms and comes equipped with an AtranVelo luggage rack, front and rear lights, and a storage space for a tracking device such as an Apple AirTag. Availability in other European countries has not yet been confirmed.
