German fleet services company DKV Mobility has expanded its electric vehicle charging network in the United Kingdom by partnering with Fuuse, a prominent UK-based EV charge point management platform. The collaboration will allow DKV Mobility customers to access thousands of additional charging stations across the UK, reinforcing the company’s presence in the British market.
Fuuse enables charge point operators (CPOs) to open their infrastructure to both businesses and the public, with its network encompassing a wide range of institutions including local councils, hotels, universities, healthcare facilities, and retail locations. The agreement grants DKV customers access to a broad set of UK CPOs such as evpoint, Scottish Power Recharge, Charge My Street, FOR EV, and others via Fuuse. This also includes Fuuse’s ‘virtual CPO’ offering, which aggregates smaller independent operators.
DKV customers can now locate and use these charge points through the DKV Mobility app or the DKV Card + Charge solution, maintaining a seamless experience across the company’s existing European network of 938,000 charging points, including 45,000 in the UK. “Adding Fuuse’s clients to our network significantly strengthens our presence in the UK and helps us support our customers on their journey towards more sustainable mobility,” said Sven Mehringer, Managing Director of Energy & Vehicle Services at DKV Mobility. “Together, we are enhancing accessibility to high-performance EV charging infrastructure.”
Fuuse CEO Michael Gibson welcomed the partnership, calling it “a big step forward for our CPOs.” He added, “Partnering with DKV Mobility, one of Europe’s leaders in fleet management, including EV charge cards and fuel cards, puts our client’s charge points in front of yet more drivers.”
This move is part of a broader UK and Ireland expansion strategy by DKV Mobility. Earlier this month, the company announced a collaboration with Irish CPO EasyGo, following a similar agreement with Applegreen Electric in January.
