Ahead of Hon Hai Tech Day 2022, Foxconn again revealed two of its newest electric cars through the latest teaser.
Launching from Carscoops and Autocar, the two newest electric cars of the iPhone assembly company are called the Foxtron Model B and Model V.
The presence of the Foxtron Model B and Model V electric cars certainly expands Foxconn’s electric car portfolio after the Model C and Model E.
Seeing the teaser, Foxtron Model B and Model V appear worthy to fill two different segments.
Starting from the Model B, this electric car has the potential to be prepared to enliven the C segment and compete with the Tesla Model 3 and Volkswagen ID.3.
Interestingly like the Model E, the Foxtron Model B was also designed by Pininfarina, an Italian design house known as a Ferrari designer.
So what does it look like? At first glance, the body silhouette of the Model B looks similar to the Volkswagen ID.3 without the quarter window near the A pillar.
However, in contrast to ID.3 which has a rounded front profile, Pininfarina makes Model B’s face appear aggressive.
This impression can be seen from the upright cut near the headlights, the slot above the Foxtron badge, and the bumper with large air dams.
Then for the Model V, it is prepared to enliven the electric pickup segment which is quite crowded in the United States.
Different from the Model B, the Model V was designed directly by the Foxconn designer team by prioritizing advanced semi-autonomous features.
This can be seen from its face which has a panel grille with housing for the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) sensor.
Until this news was revealed, Foxconn has not released specifications or other interesting facts about the Model B or Model V.
The Foxtron Model B and Model V will premiere at Hon Hai Tech Day 2022 which will be held on 18 October.
