EVgo and General Motors are expanding their U.S. fast-charging partnership, with more than 100 new flagship charging stalls planned to enter operation by the end of 2026. The latest site has opened in Warren, Michigan, near GM’s Global Technical Center, bringing the number of operational flagship stalls in the United States to more than 40.
The new location has 12 charging stalls capable of delivering up to 350 kW and supports both CCS and NACS connectors.

Michigan Site Adds 12 High-Power Chargers
The Warren charging station is designed to accommodate a range of electric vehicles and includes an overhead canopy and pull-through spaces for vehicles towing trailers.
EVgo said vehicles can receive a full charge in as little as 15 minutes at the site, depending on the vehicle’s charging capability and other operating conditions.
The location is positioned near GM’s Global Technical Center and is part of EVgo’s expanding network of higher-capacity charging sites.

Flagship Sites Focus on High-Power Charging
EVgo’s flagship charging locations are designed around higher-powered chargers, additional charging stalls, improved lighting and access to nearby amenities.
The company said flagship sites will average as many as 20 charging stalls and will generally be located near shops, restaurants, supermarkets and other destinations.
William Hotchkiss, head of public charging at General Motors, said the expansion is intended to improve access to high-power charging for GM electric vehicle customers.

More Sites Planned Across the U.S.
EVgo plans to add flagship charging locations in California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan and Texas.
The company expects more than 100 flagship stalls to be operational by the end of 2026.
The new locations will expand access to both CCS and NACS charging as EVgo continues to increase the availability of high-power public charging across major U.S. markets.
GM-Backed Network Reaches 32 States
The flagship programme builds on the wider charging partnership between EVgo and GM.
With GM’s support, EVgo has deployed around 2,400 charging stalls across 32 U.S. states.
EVgo Accelerates NACS Connector Rollout Across U.S. Fast-Charging Network
Separately, EVgo, GM and Pilot Company have expanded another fast-charging programme. That network now includes more than 1,300 charging stalls across 300 locations in 40 states.
The latest flagship rollout adds another layer to the companies’ broader effort to expand high-power charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in the United States.
