The Wuling Hongguang Mini EV Convertible has been on the market since Thursday (1/8). Where, this Chinese manufacturer collaborated with fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar to promote this tiny electric car.

Not only that, young Chinese actress Zhou Ye was asked to become the brand ambassador and first owner of the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV Convertible.

In appearance, this open roof version has a more luxurious design than the standard variant. Just look at the pair of LED lights and glossy black accented grille, including the “five diamonds” logo that can light up.

The main menu on this electric car is a canvas roof that can be opened, so you can see a wider view. The impression of luxury is also seen in the interior of this Mini EV Convertible.

The cabin area has many red accents, such as the dashboard, door trim, center console, and a pair of seats. Unlike the standard version, this variant has a capacity of 2 passengers.

The Mini EV Convertible measures 3,059 mm in length, 1,521 mm in width, 1,614 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,010 mm. Compare that to the MINI EV Macaron on which it is based, which has a length of 2,920 mm, a width of 1,493 mm, a height of 1,621 mm and a wheelbase of 1,940 mm.

In terms of performance, the Mini EV Convertible is offered in a choice of distances of 200 km and 300 km with a 30 kW electric motor.

The Mini EV Convertible is available in a choice of body colors, namely blue, green, and black, as well as two color options for the canopy roof, black and red.
