Chery’s Exlantix ET, known domestically as the Exeed Sterra ET, is set to enter international markets under its global name. The SUV features a combination of extended-range (EREV) and battery-electric (BEV) powertrains, incorporating advanced technologies in drivetrain, range extension, and intelligent driving systems.
The EREV variant is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged generator with a thermal efficiency of 44.5% and fuel consumption of 5.9 liters per 100 km. It is equipped with a 67-liter fuel tank and a 41-kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery from Gotion, enabling a total range of 1,500 km under CLTC conditions, with 240 km available in pure EV mode.

The SUVâs all-wheel-drive system consists of two electric motors: a front motor producing 150 kW (201 hp) and a rear motor delivering 195 kW (261 hp), for a combined output of 345 kW (485 hp) and 634 Nm of torque. The Exlantix ET accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.
For intelligent driving, the vehicle is equipped with two Nvidia Orin-X chips, providing 508 TOPS of computing power. It features 30 sensors that enable map-free, end-to-end intelligent driving.
The SUV also incorporates an air suspension system from Khat, allowing a ground clearance of up to 240 mm. Measuring 4,955 mm in length, 1,975 mm in width, and 1,698 mm in height, with a 3,000 mm wheelbase, the five-seat Exlantix ET is positioned as a spacious and technologically advanced model.

Beyond the EREV variant, the Exlantix ET offers a rear-wheel-drive version with a 31-kWh LFP battery from CATL. The BEV variants provide power outputs ranging from 313 hp to 562 hp, with battery options of 77 kWh and 100 kWh. The model is priced between 189,800 yuan and 319,800 yuan ($26,175 â $44,100) in China. The global version will feature a redesigned front end with a grille-like design to cater to international preferences.
