French sporting goods retailer Decathlon has introduced the Rockrider E-ACTV 100 e-bike ahead of schedule in Europe, making the high-frame version of its new entry-level electric bicycle available in select markets.
Unveiled in early February, the Rockrider E-ACTV 100 was originally expected to go on sale in March. However, Decathlon has already released the high-frame variant, which features an anthracite gray frame, in several European countries. “The model is designed for trail rides or commuting, with Bluetooth connectivity and an integrated smartphone mount,” Decathlon stated.

In France and Spain, the L/XL size is now available for €999.99, targeting riders between 1.72 m and 1.95 m tall. Meanwhile, in the Netherlands and Ireland, both S/M (for 1.50 m to 1.72 m riders) and L/XL variants are on sale, though Dutch customers face a higher price of €1,030.
The Rockrider E-ACTV 100 is powered by a 250W rear-hub motor delivering 45Nm torque, offering pedal assistance up to 25 kph (16 mph) across three modes. A 356 Wh battery provides up to 70 km (44 miles) of range in Eco mode, requiring 4.5 hours for a full charge. Other components include a six-speed Microshift RD M21 rear derailleur, Rockrider Trekking suspension fork with 60 mm travel, mechanical disc brakes, and all-terrain tires.
