Automaker from China, Chery, launched a tiny electric car that has the ability to cover a distance of up to 408 km. Named Chery QQ Wujie Pro, the electric car is an eco-friendly version of the legendary Chery QQ model.
QQ Wujie Pro has a mileage of 408 km or twice the ability of Chery QQ Ice Cream which can only reach a distance of 170 km.
The Wujie Pro gets a 40.3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and there is also a smaller battery option, which is 30.6 kWh for a range of 301 km. It should be noted, however, that Chery lists these figures based on NEDC, so the original mileage of this electric car could be lower.
With a larger battery size, Wujie Pro offers more than three times the power of Ice Cream. On paper, the Wujie Pro can produce 70 kW (95 PS) and 120 Nm of torque. As for the 30.6 kWh version, the power is lower, at 55 kW (75 PS). But surprisingly, the torque is even greater, reaching 150 Nm.
Regarding performance, Chery claims the acceleration time of the Wujie Pro 0-50 km / h is only 4.8 seconds (under six seconds with a 75 PS motor). The maximum speed reaches 100 km / h, and with a larger battery the top speed is only 120 km / h.
Both variants support DC fast charging from an unspecified output, charging the battery from 30 to 80% in half an hour. The 30.6 kWh battery, on the other hand, can receive up to 3.3 kW of AC charging which takes between six to ten hours to recharge, while the 40.3 kWh battery variant can be charged in under seven hours using the 6 charger. ,6 kW.
In terms of price, the Wujie Pro is priced at an introductory price of 79,900 yuan (US$11,842) for the 30.6 kWh base model. While in the highest variant with a 40.3 kWh battery, the price reaches 101,900 yuan (US $ 15,086).
